New Business Development Practitioner

AfriGIS is looking for a New Business Development Practitioner to join our team.

Minimum Requirements
Qualifications & Experience
  • At least 5+ years in Sales in a solution selling environment
  • A tertiary degree in Business Management, Marketing, Business Administration, or related field
  • Exceptional sales and customer relationship management skills with in-depth knowledge of the market, including extensive industry contacts on executive and senior management levels
  • Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets


Main Responsibilities

The main roles and responsibilities:

  • Seek out and initiate new business opportunities
  • Grow new revenue streams
  • Responsible for own sales target
  • Identify and develop new markets and customers to achieve business growth
  • Schedule meetings and presentations with prospects
  • Collaborate across departments to meet business objectives
  • Collaborate with company executives to determine the most viable, cost-effective approach to pursue new business opportunities
  • Meeting with potential clients to present company offerings and negotiate business deals
