Vodacom wins MMA Industry Award at Loeries Creative Week

The Mobile Marketing Association (MMA) of South Africa announced the 2015 South African MMA Standard Bank SMARTIES™ winners at the MMA Standard Bank SMARTIES function, recently hosted in Durban. The SMARTIES are part of the only global awards programme created specifically to recognise best-in-class mobile marketing campaigns from around the world.


Vodacom won the Best Operator Special Industry Award at the ceremony, hosted as part of the Loeries Creative Week. The reward is in recognition of the pioneering role that Vodacom has played in prior years, and more recently for the innovative and strategic focus being afforded to Mobile Advertising.


There is a growing recognition in most sectors of the role that mobile can play in driving consumer awareness, engagement, transactions and even brand affinity. Vodacom is committed to continue to innovate and deliver market changing propositions to sustain their market-leading position.
