It is with an immense sense of gratitude to our Maker that we look back on 2013. The organisation and its people are blessed.

Looking back over the year we celebrated the 15 year anniversary of three-, 10 year anniversary of three- and the five year anniversaries of no less than 10 employees.

The company entered a new phase of maturity where we are seeing more and more prominent services and customers powered by AfriGIS. Our product set is pushing efficiencies and capabilities at our customers. Tools like IntiendoLS and the AfriGIS Datasets have also celebrated and crossed their 10 year anniversaries.

We remain as committed and passionate about the country as ever. Our Learnership was extended for the year and we are proud to announce that some of our learners are being placed in the industry.

Reflecting on 2013, some of the highlights of the year include:

• Celebrating phase one of their successful training with our Learners in February and welcoming them back at the office in November, after their theoretical training at CTU.
• Launching of the AfriGIS Route Optimisation & Telecoms Movements and Insights Databases.
• The launch of www.census2011.co.za website. Informative geographical information and analysis of the 2011 Census Data.
• AfriGIS Navigator reaching more than 300 thousand downloads across all platforms.
• Crossing the 14 billion impression mark and delivering millions of MMS- & SMS’s on Marbil, our Communications & Advertising Platform,
• Live bus tracking & alert messages included on the award winning Gautrain App, developed by AfriGIS
• Deployment of our datasets and AfriGIS Mobility Framework at SARS, enabling their internal analytics teams as well mobile field force.
• Hosting another three successful Data Shows during the year, with our 43rd Data Release scheduled for December 2013
• In terms of our product offering; the launch of Simseek and TracB in the new Enterprise environment, as well as the latest IntiendoLS with its amazing speed and auto-complete capability.
