AfriGIS was founded in 1997 and currently has over 100 employees located in Pretoria, Durban and Cape Town (South Africa), Dublin (Ireland) and Dhaka (Bangladesh). We are known for our ability to integrate our products into innovative solutions, without a dependency on 3rd parties. Best cost effective initiative for Africa 2011

AfriGIS is contracted by Statistics SA (StatsSA) to assist with progress monitoring and reporting of the 2011 Census – monitoring and analysis of over 120 000 enumerators working across the country in real time. This resulted in an Award at AfricaCom in 2012 in the category best cost effective initiative for Africa.
