Senior Full-Stack Developer
AfriGIS is looking for a Senior Full-Stack Developer to join our team.
Minimum Requirements
Qualifications & Experience
- A relevant Information Technology qualification and/or Microsoft Certification.
- 5+ years solid software development experience.
- Experience in acting as technical lead.
Main Responsibilities
The main roles and responsibilities:
- Application programming and System testing.
- Translation of high-level system design to development tasks and application programs.
- Where system enhancements are required, compile effort estimates, communicate with project managers and guide the team throughout the system development lifecycle.
- Document and manage system changes.
- Investigate, fix, test and migrate system bug fixes through the prescribed change management procedures.
- Act as technical lead on assigned products/projects.
Technical Competencies
Minimum requirements:
- C#
- .Net
- NET WebAPI (some MVC)
- SPAs (VueJs or equivalent)
- JavaScript and/or TypeScript
- ORMs, Relational DB’s and Stored Procedures
- Git and Automated Deployment
- Web Development
- Docker
- Proven .NET experience as well as a solid understanding of Object-Oriented Design
Previous experience in the following will be advantageous:
- PostgreSQL with PostGIS
- Spatial Data Knowledge
